VicTsing's 300 mL Cool Mist Humidifier Review

I often review products I don’t own, and this diffuser is yet another one of them.

After my hours of researching this product, I decided to put together this post about the pros and cons of the diffuser from a non-biased perspective.

The Wooden Designed Mist Monster

Just thought I’d spice things up with the heading… So, here it is, the glorious mist humidifier (interesting wording on their end, but I think mine is another level of interesting…):

It seems pretty simple, and from what I’ve seen and read, it certainly has a simplistic design. There are however some things to consider about it, and that’s the point of this review.

Enough jibber-jabber,let’s get to those amazing reviews people left…

What they had to say

(Note: the reviews get more updated as the article progresses.)

As you may be able to tell, the reviews are pretty good, sitting at a solid 4.6 out of 5 stars from over 3 thousand ratings at the moment. However, it’s important to not forger about that 3 percent who thought this product was 3 percent-worthy…

The Good Reviews

Most people who had good experiences cited good materials (although this was also one of the things some people complained about in the negative reviews), good smell, and low noise.

Someone said:

Very sophisticated design

I mean, they wrote much more than that.. but I am saving you the time of reading it. It’s funny considering the person cited “would buy again.” at the end of their review, which seems fishy to me, and you as well, I’m sure.

However I have been reviewing products for years, and this is very common. I’m not entirely certain whether these are paid reviews, or legit customers, but it certainly exists in pretty much any product, especially such a popular one…

Other people cited it was easy to use, and there was even a comment in French, which I didn’t translate, but it was 5 stars, so I assume it was something praiseworthy…

The One Star Feedbacks

Let’s take a look at why that small percentage of people gave that one star review, shall we?

Most of the negative reviews had of of the three complaints:

1. The diffuser didn’t work at all.

2. The diffuser broke down too quickly.

3. The liquid runs out too soon.

Someone did complain about the product’s design getting worse over time:

I’ve had this diffuser for about a year now and look how bad the condition is. Followed all the steps when filling water to maximum level. This is a crap product! Do not buy it, no matter what colour!!!

Hold on…

After analyzing so many reviews, I noticed I was on Amazon.ca. I’m going to say that’s not too different from Amazon.com, and move on, but if you’re curious, the ratings are also quite well on Amazon.com as well:

The 1-star ratings up 3%, and the 5-star ratings down 1%. Overall, lost 0.1 out of 5 compared to Amazon.ca.

At the end of the day, the humidifier is great from what I’ve read. If you have issues, you can contact VicTsing, and they will likely fix your issue to keep their high rating.

Blinking lights?

It has come to my attention that there is a big unanswered question about this product: the blinking red or green lights.

A blinking red light is not a good sign. It might be some water getting into the base of the humidifier, or something else. In any case, there is something wrong with the device, and that is why it blinks red.

Is it worth the price?

In my opinion, absolutely. The final call, as always is yours. If you’d like to buy the product, you may do so from Amazon (you may have to disable your AdBlocker if you have one since Amazon widgets are often considered ads):
